Deployment & Travel Details - MUST be willing to travel to Arlington Vermont
- Hotel lodging – employee pays $100 a week
- Transportation – must have reliable transportation to Vermont as well as to work site and back to hotel
- Shift details to be determined, $24 per hour
- You must be able to remain on assignment for the full duration of the project (approximately 6-8 weeks)
Finisher / Production Finishing Associate
Job Summary
The Finisher is responsible for completing final production and assembly tasks to ensure manufactured products meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role involves inspecting parts, performing light assembly and finishing work, packaging products, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect finished products for defects, damage, or quality concerns.
- Perform trimming, deburring, sanding, cleaning, labeling, and other finishing tasks as required.
- Assemble components and complete final product preparation according to work instructions.
- Verify product quality using visual inspections and measurement tools.
- Package completed products for shipment following customer requirements.
- Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
- Report equipment issues, defects, or production concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with material handling and movement of products throughout the production area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Manual dexterity to handle small parts and use hand tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with quality inspections and production processes.
- Familiarity with manufacturing documentation and work orders.
- Strong attendance and reliability.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks.
Schedule: Full-time, with overtime available based on production needs.
Work Environment: Manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery, production equipment, and varying noise levels. Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
