Abacus Staffing is seeking a safety-focused and reliable Forklift Operator to join our client site's team in Brownsburg, IN. If you have experience operating warehouse equipment and enjoy working in a fast-paced distribution environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! What You'll Do

As a Forklift Operator, you will support daily warehouse operations by safely moving products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently. Responsibilities include:

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Load, unload, move, store, and stage products while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to process inventory and shipment transactions.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and follow all warehouse safety procedures.
• Support receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, cycle counting, and inventory control activities.
• Operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, and sit-down forklifts as required.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Meet productivity, quality, safety, and attendance expectations.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed to support operational requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, or logistics environment required.
• Experience operating reach trucks, cherry pickers, and sit-down forklifts required.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or related technology preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work the assigned schedule, including overtime and holidays based on business needs.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
