Warehouse Lead – Inbound & Outbound
Schedule: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Abacus Corporation is currently seeking experienced Warehouse Leads for Inbound and Outbound operations. These are interview-to-placement opportunities. We are looking to identify qualified candidates who can successfully support our customer's warehouse operations and leadership team.
Interested candidates should have previous warehouse leadership or lead experience in either an Inbound or Outbound environment.

Inbound Warehouse Lead
The Inbound Lead will oversee daily inbound dock activities and provide direction and support to warehouse employees to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate operations.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate daily Inbound dock activities.
- Direct lumpers and assign product and pallet trailers for unloading.
- Assign loads for put-away and monitor workflow throughout the shift.
- Provide support, direction, and assistance to direct reports with questions or operational issues.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to maintain smooth warehouse operations.
- Respond to customer and internal emails and Microsoft Teams messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct internal safety and housekeeping checks, including 5S and Safety Net requirements.
- Occasionally lead or facilitate Start-Up meetings.
- Monitor the condition and operation of Inbound dock areas and PIT equipment.
- Report equipment, safety, maintenance, or operational issues as needed.
- Ensure assigned work areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
- Ensure Inbound dock and man doors are properly secured and locked at the end of the shift.
- Assist with maintaining productivity, safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in an Inbound warehouse environment required.
- Previous lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) experience preferred, but not required.
- Manhattan Scale experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn warehouse management systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead, direct, and support a team.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
Outbound Warehouse Lead
The Outbound Lead will oversee daily outbound warehouse activities and provide direction and support to warehouse employees to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate operations.

- Assign case and pallet picking responsibilities.
- Coordinate trailer loading and unloading activities.
- Provide support, direction, and assistance to direct reports with questions or operational issues.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to maintain smooth warehouse operations.
- Respond to customer and internal emails and Microsoft Teams messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct internal safety and housekeeping checks, including 5S and Safety Net requirements.
