About this role
Abacus is looking for outstanding Security Officers to work at one of our top Children's hospital in the Baltimore area.
Available positions include:
- Front Desk/Officer
- Foot Patrol Officer
- Garage Rover Officer
Pay Rate:
- $17 Per Hour
- Full health and vision benefits
- PTO time
- 1.5X pay for major holidays and any hours worked over 40
- Serene atmosphere
Vaccine Requirements
All eligible candidates must be able to provide documentation to show vaccination status against:
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Chicken Pox (Varicella)
- Flu Shot
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
Qualifications:
- At least 6+ months of Security experience
- Customer-oriented personality
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to show proof of vaccination
- Must be 21+ years old
- Must be able to work in inclement weather if required
- Must be able to walk/stand for 8-12 hours a day
